Common Questions

Before You Submit

A few questions we hear most often. If you don’t see yours, ask in the project description or call us directly.

Is the estimate really free?

Yes — free and no-pressure, which is how Emerald Crest has always run estimates. Michael comes out, looks at the property, and talks through what makes sense. There is no obligation to proceed.

Who actually comes out to look at the job?

Michael Greco, the owner. He trained as a landscape designer through the Delaware Area Career Center and handles estimates personally, so the person quoting the work is the person accountable for it.

How quickly will I hear back?

We follow up as quickly as we can, and customers regularly mention fast responses in reviews. During peak spring and autumn weeks it can take a little longer — if you need an answer urgently, calling (614) 400-9203 is the fastest route.

Do I need to know my budget before reaching out?

No. It helps if you have a rough figure in mind, but plenty of people start with only a vague idea. We can talk through what different approaches cost and shape the scope to fit.

Can a large project be split into phases?

Yes, and for bigger properties it is often the sensible route. The important part is designing the whole thing first, so an early phase does not block or waste work in a later one.

Do you take on small jobs, or only full projects?

Both. A spring bed cleanup with fresh mulch is just as welcome as a full patio build, and small jobs are a large share of the work we do.

What if I am just outside your service area?

Send the form with your address and we will tell you straight away. Our core area runs across Delaware, Franklin, Union, and Fairfield counties, but it is always worth asking.

What information helps most on the form?

The property address, which services you are considering, and roughly when you would like to start. A sentence or two about what is not working now is genuinely useful before the site visit.
