On-Site Design Consultation
Michael walks the property, takes measurements, and talks through layout, size, and how you actually plan to use the space.
Patio Installation
A patio is the piece of your yard you actually live on. We design and build paver patios that fit how your family uses the space — and we build the part you never see, the base, to the same standard as the part you do.
Why It Lasts
Almost every failed patio in Central Ohio failed underneath. Our clay soil holds water, and when that water freezes it lifts whatever sits on top of it. A patio laid on thin or poorly compacted base will heave, settle, and open joints within a few winters. We excavate to depth, compact the aggregate in lifts, and set the grade to move water away from the house before a single paver is placed.
We dig out to depth, then build the aggregate base back up in compacted lifts rather than one loose pour — the difference between a patio that settles and one that does not.
Every patio is pitched away from the foundation. Drainage is designed in at the start, not patched in after the first heavy spring.
Edges are locked so the field cannot creep, and joints are sanded to keep pavers tight, resist weeds, and hold the pattern.
What's Included
Michael walks the property, takes measurements, and talks through layout, size, and how you actually plan to use the space.
Paver style, color, pattern, and border options matched to your home rather than to whatever is on the pallet that week.
Existing material removed, subgrade shaped, and the pitch set to carry water away from the house.
Base built up and compacted in lifts — the step most often shortcut, and the one that determines whether the patio survives freeze-thaw.
Clean cuts, tight joints, straight borders, and consistent pattern alignment across the full field.
Patios tied into walkways, steps, seating walls, and planting beds so the finished yard reads as one project.
How It Goes
You will know the scope, the schedule, and the price before anyone starts digging.
We walk the property together, measure, discuss layout and materials, and identify any drainage or grade issues up front.
You get a clear written scope and price, plus a realistic timeline. Nothing starts until you have both.
Layout marked, existing material removed, subgrade graded, and aggregate base compacted in lifts.
Field pavers set to pattern, borders and cuts finished, edge restraint installed.
Joints sanded and set, the site cleaned, and a final walkthrough so you can look at the work before we leave.
Michael is the real deal! They are incredibly skilled in their craft and made the entire process incredibly easy for us. With a fantastic crew and exceptional work, you would expect it to take longer to complete the job, but that was not the case. They were incredibly quick, and I am extremely happy with the outcome of my new backyard patio. It is even better than I could have imagined!

Patio FAQ
Custom paver patios in a range of sizes, layouts, and styles — from a simple gathering space off the back door to larger multi-zone outdoor living areas with seating walls, fire features, and integrated lighting.
Yes, and it is part of the estimate rather than an add-on. We walk you through layout options, paver styles, colors, borders, and finishing details, and recommend what suits your home and how you plan to use the space.
Most patios run from a few days to a couple of weeks depending on size, site preparation, and how much access the crew has to the yard. You get a timeline before work begins.
Absolutely. Redesigning, expanding, or fully replacing a tired or settling patio is common work for us. If the existing base is the problem, we will tell you plainly rather than lay new pavers over a failing foundation.
That is what the base work is for. Central Ohio clay plus repeated freeze-thaw is hard on hardscape, so proper excavation depth, compaction, and drainage are built into every patio rather than treated as optional.
Yes — free and no-pressure. Michael handles estimates personally, so the person quoting the job is the person responsible for it.
