Walkway Installation

Durable Walkways With Custom Style

A walkway is the first hardscape anyone touches on your property. We build paths that stay level, drain properly, and tie the front entry, side yard, and backyard together instead of feeling like three separate projects.

Flow and Function

Paths That Follow How People Actually Walk

Most walkway problems are layout problems before they are material problems. If a path fights the natural route between the driveway and the door, people cut the corner and wear a track through the lawn. We plan the route around real traffic patterns first, then build it to stay flat — because an uneven walkway is a trip hazard, not just an eyesore.

  • Routed for real traffic

We map the path to how the property is actually used — driveway to door, gate to patio, garage to garden — rather than forcing a shape that looks good only on paper.

  • Built to stay level

Proper base preparation and compaction under the full width of the path, so it does not develop the rocking, settled sections that make older walkways unsafe.

  • Matched to the house and landscape

Material, color, and edge detail chosen to work with your existing hardscape and planting rather than competing with them.

What's Included

Every Walkway Project Includes

Path Layout and Planning

Route, width, and curve planned around traffic flow, entry points, and how the path meets existing hardscape.

Base Preparation

Excavation, grading, and compacted base across the full path width — the reason a walkway stays flat instead of rocking underfoot.

Precision Paver Setting

Consistent joints, clean cuts at curves and transitions, and alignment that holds a straight line where it should.

Safe, Even Transitions

Steps, thresholds, and grade changes finished so there are no lips or sudden drops to catch a toe.

Drainage Consideration

Paths pitched so water sheds off rather than pooling along the edge or running toward the foundation.

Clean Edges and Borders

Edge restraint and border detail that hold the shape and keep the path reading crisp against lawn or beds.

Michael was awesome to work with from start to finish! Always held great communication and made us feel like a top priority. Will definitely be calling again for future projects

Walkway FAQ

Walkway Installation, Answered

What types of walkways do you install?

Paver walkways for front entries, side yards, backyard connectors, and garden paths — straight runs, curves, and stepping-stone style depending on the setting.

Can you replace an old or uneven walkway?

Yes, and it is one of the most common calls we get. Settled, cracked, or rocking walkways are usually a base failure, so we remove the old surface and rebuild properly rather than resetting stones onto the same bad foundation.

How long does a walkway take?

Most walkway projects move quickly and cause minimal disruption — often a matter of days, depending on length, curves, and site access.

Will the walkway stay level?

That is the point of the base work. Full-width excavation and compaction is what keeps a path from developing the uneven, rocking sections that make older walkways unsafe.

Can walkways be combined with a patio or planting?

Yes, and they usually should be. We regularly install walkways as part of a larger project so the path, patio, walls, and beds are designed together and materials carry through.
